Miss World Vietnam 2008 - Thien Ly

After the scandal of Miss Vietnam 2008, no candidates of this competition is eligible to compete in Miss World.

MWO knew the "difficulty" of Vietnam through the Net so they allow Vietnam to send the contestants of Miss Vietnam Universe 2008 to take part in this year.

So there they're the choice from Vietnam, only one to be accepted by MWO.


Hoang Yen ( 1st) - Thuy Lam ( Miss VNU 2008 ) - Thien Ly ( 2rd)

MWO will choose one of them and send the official invitation to her.

Finally Miss Vietnam World is Dương Trương Thiên Lý (19, 169 cm.) who was 2nd runner up at Hoa hậu Hoàn vũ Việt Nam (Miss Universe Vietnam) 2008.
